This site has been designed to showcase Sea Research's environmental consulting expertise, Also it provides general information about The Great Barrier Reef. You may navigate around this site by using the buttons in the left frame or the links at the head and foot of each page.
Clicking on About loads information on who Sea research is. There is a link to view Dr Tony Ayling's Curriculum Vitae or download it. Also there are links to more information about Sea researchs expertise, resources and capabilities.
The button labelled FNQ will load a page of links to articles about the Wet Tropics, and the Great Barrier Reef and some of its more charismatic megafauna.
The Contact page gives Sea Researchs contact details, including Phone, Fax, email and postal. It also has a link to some information about North Queenslands climate.
By clicking Publications you can view a list of Sea Research's publications and view the complete text online of selected recent reports authored by Sea Research.
The Sitemap shows a graphical representation of relationships and links between all of the pages on this site. You may click on any of the page icons depicted in the site map to get to that page.
Clicking on Help brings up this help page (but you already knew that didnt you ?).
Clicking on Site Design brings up contact details for the sites author.
There is also no-frames version available.
This site is especially useful for business people who are looking for marine consultants or professional people who are looking for subconsultants. It also provides some information for people who want information about Dr Tony Ayling.
This site is also of use to members of the general public, including students, who seek access to interesting biological information pertaining to the Great Barrier Reef or North Queensland.

The Red Component is preferentially absorbed as light travels through water. This means that at depths of only a few metres there is no red light at all. This gives everything a bluish look which has been recorded in the photos. The greater the depth the more noticeable the effect. An artificial light is essential for full colour underwater photography,
